EPIC’s Fabrication & Assembly Plant:

Fabrication Plant Capabilities

Packaging line assembly and testing takes place in EPIC’s fabrication plant. Our plant provides a controlled, off-site area where line equipment can be fully integrated with programming and controls.

Once the equipment is integrated together, our engineers conduct thorough test runs that simulate line function at your facility. Complete and correct programming is checked, and fail-safe scenarios completed. This allows a full-functioning, pre-tested line to be shipped to your facility, dramatically decreasing installation time and potential downtime at your plant.

Our fabrication plant has many capabilities, and services both the packaging projects and modular process systems that EPIC produces. Full plant capabilities include:

  • Carbon-steel fabrication
  • Control panel fabrication
    • Electrical wiring and internals assembly & integration
    • HMI integration
    • Full installation and testing on final packaging lines or modular systems
    • Robotic integrator
  • Electrical development, wiring and testing
  • FAT testing
  • Frame fabrication
  • Green tags
  • Instrumentation installation
  • Insulation installation
  • Mechanical assembly
  • Non-carbon steel fabrication
  • Painting
  • Pipe fitting, bending and installation
  • Pressure vessel fabrication
  • Sanitary fabrication
  • Sheet metal
  • Structural fabrication
  • Tooling
  • Tubing fitting, bending and installation
  • Welding

Custom Projects

Being a robotic integrator, our projects are completed in our plant are custom projects. Our experienced plant staff, quality control manager, shop foreman and engineering project managers work together on every custom project to ensure success. All projects completed in the EPIC fabrication plant leave fully assembled, tested and ready for on-site installation.
